6 speed to auto conversion gurus

Ok fellas have a few questions, will the 47RH bolt up to my 5600 bell housing, also will i have to reflash my ecm,also i want to do a floor shifter and need some part numbers or suggestions on what to use, i like the lokar 23" shifter, any help would be great.

What are you doing with the 5600? Wouldn't mind having a spare since parts are getting scarce...

If I remember correctly, the auto trannies are a one-piece case design. If I'm wrong that's okay. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with mine. I'm tired of shifting gears. Call me lazy if you want, but if I don't buy a new truck, I'm going to buy a built auto for mine and swap them out sometime in the not too distant future.

The auto will bolt directly to the motor. ECM -0 would like to trade? I did the reverse auto to manual, everything works but cruise... .....

The crossmemeber should work, although you will need a new trans mount. Additionally, your starter 'may' have a spacer, this will need to be removed.

you will have to have your computer reflashed. If you don't the ecm will see the constant load from the auto at idle and keep giving the motor extra fuel. It makes it seem like you have a huge cam in it. I have done several of these swaps
