6 Speed trans fill?

I think I see the fill, but not sure what gets in there to open it?

I see no bolt to drain? Look on youtube but nothing.

You should have the iron case NV5600. The fill plug takes a 17mm allen key, Geno's should have them. Drain with a bottom bolt of a PTO cover.

In a pinch I. Have used a bolt that I double nutted. Put the head of the bolt in the hole and use the double nut jammed together to turn the plug.

Hmmmmm I HAVE A 17MM Allenm but it did not fit in the hole....... I will have to go back out and see if some crud is in the hole after kids go to bed. This is the last major check and change until I head out to MT on Monday.

Wash wax and vacuum this weekend and I am ready for the road.

There was a burr not allowing the 17mm allen in. Everything is now checked, replaced, filled, etc to leave on Monday for MT. Hoping for no break downs on a 200K truck
