6 speeds that bite and blown Intercooler in 05

Don't let the title get me wrong, I love the CTD. I make my living driving them, but I am majorly disappointed in the 6 speed. I pull right at 17,700 pounds when I am fully loaded, and with my automatics, I have never had an issue, I have added an edge attitude, and hit the hills in the west at 80, and climb right up. Two weeks ago, I obtained an 05 6 speed, that makes me feel like I am driving a Duramax. Gearing is all wrong for heavy towing, and HENRY STUART, please start putting EGT gauges stock, and let those of us who put 20,000 a month or more a fighting chance to stop the damage before it is done. :-{} :-{}
