OK guys, I installed the #8 TST pwer kit and the AFC spring kit and am very impressed. But now I want more, I bet you saw that one coming. What is the next step I can take with out changing my turbo or my delivery valves? Can I go to the #6 or #5 torque plate and still use my stock turbo, injectors, and delivery valves. I want more power, but I don't have the budget to make alot of other changes. Truck specs are in my signature and bear in mind I don't tow or haul any thing with it. Thanks for any advice. OK, and where is your signature? In general, you can do the #6 with no other changes. The 5 may require the 16 cm2 turbine housing to cut egt. None of the plates necessitate delivery valve changes.

Thanks for the reply. Hope fully my signature will show up this time. I am new to the TDR and am still learning how to use the website. Thanks

Call TST and talk to them about changing the plate out, I had a #8 and a 16 CM and changed it to a #4 for more power but mostly for the future, funny thing is the #4 in the stock position is the same EGT's at the #8 all the way forward, mine will level out at 1300 till about 100 MPH then it pegs that DiPricol guage, lastley read my signature.

P. S. That stock auto won't like it.

#8 to #5 Torque plate

Thanks for the reply Jfulmer. I have the NV4500 manual transmission in my truck. I am wondering is there a big change if I go from the #8 to a #5. Have any of you out there done this? If so I would be interested in hearing from you. Is it a good low end change or just in the high rpm range?... ... . thanks.
