Any 4" exhaust that's quieter than stock setup

I'm looking at purchasing a small 6' X 10' or 6' X 12' cargo trailer in the near future. With the many currently available, which ones do you guys endorse? Haulmark, US Cargo, Interstate, etc... ?

We have a couple big trailers and my experience points me to at least torsion axles and hopefully 15" wheels at least... I prefer the twin doors to the ramp. Other than that, suggest away. Thanks for any input.

Brand?

Oil Ape,

I bought a non-enclosed one here in Eastern NE a little over a year ago... wish I could remember the brand, but they are made in IA. They have a complete line of enclosed ones from the size you're looking at to 30 footers! I bought mine at a place called Neel's Trailer outlet just south of the Omaha Metro. I realize that's a bit far from Davenport, but it is an Iowa product. If I come up with the name, I'll post it here.

I've had a Haulmark 6x12 3-doors the only thing I don't like is it didn't come w/any tie-downs,otherwise I've hauled alot of weight in it & found out they use the same axles up to the 18" tarilers but since the 12' is lighter weight it had a heavier hauling capacity.

hope this helps,

Bob

I have the Haulmark 6x6x12 enclosed with ramp and love it. I bought it before my last move (do it myself move) to pull behind my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it worked out GREAT! It sits in my backyard most of the time now as a mobile shed for collecting schtuff. I think I paid about $3000 new. The ramp has really helped immensely with some of the stuff we (I) moved, like the piano, sofa, lawn mower, etc. But that's just me.....

I haven't had any problems with it at all other than a broken lamp lens which was a common swapout piece. It appears to be weathering well considering 4 years in CO 1 year in OK and at least partially loaded 100% of the time.

I'm happy with it anyway, hope this helps... .

Oh, and didn't come with tiedown's here either. Talked to salesman on that very point and they dodged it with the dealership not wanting to install tiedowns anymore because so many people went in and asked "Can you space these out more, or close them in more. " to where they felt it better to just let the people decide where they needed to be. I'm sure the saving the few bucks on the parts was just icing on the cake for them. Truth be told I'm glad they left the tiedowns for me to do. The interior lighting was all on them though.

:D
