Air Intake for 6.7??

New Fuel, Trans & Oil Filters from AFE

This is kinda petty, but the level of detail goes down with a 0-100 gauge vs a 0-60. So I'm curious. And I plan on putting in an order for gauges Monday from my local race shop.

So what kinda boost you folks running? I was thinking a 64 or 66 turbo, and I will Prolly make that smoke a little like I do to my stocker as far as extra fuel. What can these spin up to?

I've read the 66 bullet is good for 60+.

What about you 64 folks, what do you run?

And you 62 folks too :)

Well, my Street Stock 62/14 from HTT will peg my 35# gauge pretty easily. The wastegate is supposed to be set at 40#. A buddy of mine had a Killer B2 64/14, and if I remember correctly, he could get his to being pretty close to pegging his 60#.

I reset my 'gate for lower boost to let the h/g live a little longer. Have it at 38# right now. Can keep my EGTs in check with the fuel I have.

I just went from a 35 to 100 lb gauge. My HX40 was just barely pegging my 35, it was peaking at 37. Now ith my 100 lb gauge I bought used from a local guy its hard to see the needle move without looking at it. I think a 60 lb gauge would be better at my level, a 60 lb gauge would be perfect. But if you are getting a bigger turbor, i. e. 50+ lbs of boost a 100 would probably work fine for you.

I do not like digital readouts. Most (and not me) can not "at a glance" determine what's going on with out taking your eyes off the road.

I have the bar-graph on my Edge unit. that works best for me.

I have my gauges ordered.

Phantom II:

0-100 PSI
0-2000 pyro
3 pillar pod (the 3rd spot is for the Rail gauge)
LED dimmer switch.

$340 from a local race shop. Good prices.

Support for my favorite garage, Geno's with a $7. 50 boost bolt :)

TST box will be order as well.

My Silver62, on a 0-60 Dipricol gauge, WOT, it will slap 60# very quick, for an instant, and then will settle and maintain 50#, until I let off.

II set the boost elbow up perfectly! they must flow test before shipping.

If I did it again, I would do 0-100, might want twins someday!
