Well I finally had enough of the injector knocking, doing it all the time at idle so I took it in to dealer. I got a call today that it was a bad #3 injector and they will be replacing it once the part get to them, probably Thursday. They said it was running at 90% and they even swapped it to hole #1 and it did the same thing... so star said to get a new one. I willl keep everybody informed as to mileage increase after the injector is changed out as im getting 12-13 average right now. .
They test drove it again and did infact notice the vrrrrr. vrrrrrr. vrrrr at 1900-2200 rpm with my 315's that is about 80 mph at its worst vibration, they then proced to take my tires and wheels off and put on a set of stock tires only to find the injector thing and not wanting to tear it apart again didnt test drive it, but they will once the #3 hole is filled and then proceede to diagnose the vibration, again I will keep you informed as to thier findings...
I have had these issues since new and had finally had enough of it, took it in last Friday and demanded that they be fixed or we can start discussing a buy-back... . I have had my fair share of probs with the 3 rams I have owned, but every one I have brought up to fix has infact been a real problem and usually I know the fix before the tech... helping out with TSB #'s and such, its just to bad DC has the service depts hands tied for normal service and we have to become a-holes in order to get things fixed... . so far my service guy and tech have been outstanding to work with and have gone the extra mile in my situations... I would recomend my dealer to anyone... Doug Smith in American Fork Utah... .
