Trick My Truck on CMT

96' 4x4 Dually VS. 99' HUGE Ford PSD tug'o'war!

yeah this has to do w/ the articale in the tdr mag it sounds interesting and i want to hear if its true idk maybe there are some people that have tried it already i was thinking maybe a few people could try running at 600 deg on the pyro and see if it works. it sounds interesting to me but want more then one truck's reading anyways thanks in advanced.

On my 2005, 600° occurs between 55 and 60 in 6th gear on flat-ish ground, and boost pressure is under 5. I've been trying to keep EGT under 650 and boost under 6 or 7, for a few tanks just to see what it's going to do, but I'm on the first tank of the test now. Another part of the experiment is I'm keeping the RPM's below about 1800. After I determine how much it helps, I'll report back.
