First thing you'll have to do is spend about 8 grand on your transmission so it will live for more than 35 seconds at 600 hp.

With a 160 Hp P7100, it may be real tough. I got 447/942 with a '94 175 HP P7100 the following:

TST # 0 Torque/Cam Plate

Dynomite Diesel 140 HP over stock injectors

Industrial Injection Silver 62 Turbocharger

(62mm compressor wheel, 74 mm turbine wheel, 14 CM housing)

ATS Pulse Exhaust Manifold

4” Turbo back exhaust, Aeroturbine straight-through muffler

Ignition timing set @ 14. 5° BTDC

191 Delivery valves

3000 RPM Governor Springs

AFC “light” spring, Housing full-forward

Icebox cold air intake, cowl air plumbed into it – AFE Pro-guard 7 air cleaner (cone)

Fluidampr

Southbend Con 0 Clutch and Pressure plate (3400 lb. clamp load)

24 valve intercooler

what r u running for boost with that Industrial Injection Silver 62 Turbocharger if i may ask?

I want to say 40-45 lbs. I adjusted the wastegate actuator rod to start to open @ 40lbs w/ shop air. I also run a straight through elbow (boost fooler).

I still have the OEM head gasket and head bolts and don't need a blown head gasket.

best and probably cheaper to just replace the transmission with an ATS or suncoast rather than build up the old one, and source a 215 pump.

how fat and deep?

Do all the work yourself, buy nothing more than what you NEED, and get the right stuff the first time... ... You could probably get it from the engine for 5-6k. That does not include transmission work. There are many guys out there with 15-20k dollars in aftermarket stuff that aren't making 600 hp.

I personally know of three Goerend trannies on trucks that were over 600hp and run in different types of competition and they are unbelievable. One was running low 12's in the quarter and the other has been pulling with over 600 hp and ******* locals off everywhere he goes. I don't think they had $8k in them. I know of a few more trucks that run 400-500, without trouble.

You are lucky to be close about 4 hrs away from Goerend's who is in NE Iowa If any of the other posters lived in the area they would have suggested this already. Do a search and you will find countless others who will agree.

Bill. .

He doesn't need to go to Piers for a Stoopid pump...

I have one right here,a 913,that was purpose built with custom barrels/plungers,a quick rate cam,dv's and governor springs and I never installed it before I sold the old 12v truck. Its been on most all of the boards for sale but no one has stepped up and swung the check book to buy it because I am not going to give it away. It flowed 650cc's of fuel with High flow DV's and over 700cc's with full cuts and is the biggest 12mm pump that can be built and still live if you daily drive your truck. I haven't sold it yet because I am not going to give it away and many who have inquired about it want me to drop the price and give them a deal.

IMO you can not make 600 with a pump that has never been off the truck and been properly set up by a competent pump shop. I know many will claim they can but when you push for their dyno sheets they always shy away from you... .

Easiest way to get him close to the 600 mark is with twins but he will stil need to step up and have the head work done to support the number desired... ... . Andy

What Any said.

Before I read his post I was going to correct Hemi Dart by saying 'It's really pretty easy, pull the pump and get it converted to Stoopid".

Ditto on the Goerend trans, mine got hurt on a dyno run (I won't let anyone else run it on the dyno again) and it failed a day later. I called Dave, he apologized said it should not have broke, built me a new trans the next day and shipped it the day after (with a fresh convertor). All warrantee.

Great guy to work with.
