600 Reflash

I have had my truck about a month now and was wondering about the re-flash due to engine hesitation below 30. How noticeable is the stumble if your truck has it? The dealer indicated to me that I had to have the symptom before they would do the re-flash. Can the re-flash screw other things up?



I have not noticed the hesitation, but some of you are indicating an improvement in fuel mileage with the re-flash which I would like to see.



What I would like to know is would you do the re-flash if you don't have the hesitation?



Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just had the reflash done and for the same drive and resetting the truck mpg it did 3 mpg better it was some stop and go and about 10 miles of highway. It seems the low end comes on better now before if you didn't rev up to at least 1500 it was hardly moving. I can't see where a re-flash did this but i left the dealer and went to eat and tried to get back in the truck and the driver solenoid froze up and would not unlock the door either by remote or key had to pull the door handle from the inside and open it. then it goes directly back to the locked position. They ordered me a new solenoid. Tell the dealer you are experiencing the hesitation and bad fuel mileage they should reflash it.

Thanks for the response, KevinO. I have noticed that my truck gets better fuel mileage when it is warmer outside. Has anyone else noticed this? It is not related to winter fuel as I am not putting that in.
