Hi There,
I just got a 1967 Buick Riviera. My friend and his dad restored this car about 15 years ago. Then about 5 years ago my father in law bought it from my friends dad and it has been sitting in his shop for the last 5 years. It was driven from time to time, but not much in the last year. Well my father in law wanted it out of the way and was going to sell it. I didn't want to see it go away so we worked out a deal and I picked it up tonight. I was pretty amazed when it started right up with out a problem. I did notice a little rattle and part way home started smelling anti freeze. Yes the water pump is leaking. Here is my problem, the car was restored using all factory original parts, nothing aftermarket. I would like to keep it that way. Does anyone know a place to get original parts for a car this old. I will try and get a hold of my friends dad in the next few days and see if he can help me out. Thanks for any help you can give. I will post pictures of the car once I get it running right and can pull it back out and wash it.
Thanks,
Joe
