Why would you want to only flush the transmission? I took the 2007 to the dealer for a new turbo under warranty (99340 miles). They said it was time to flush the transmission. I asked if this included changing the filters and they said no. $199 to flush and $299 to flush and change filters. Needless to say I told them no.

Flushing is just a way for them to make money it's easy to just drop pan and change everything better piece of Mind that way also.

Flushing is good if the fluid is burnt or contaminated. In either of those cases the filters should be changed as well. That being said it is rare to see burnt fluid in the 68's

It is a joke to only change what is in the pan!

Get it all out and change the filters also.

Easy to do a fluid exchange on the 4th gen trans.

Would you change 1/3 of your oil?

Do not ever flush the 68rfe!
One of the engineers that designed and built that transmission said on another forum, don't do it!

Isn't a trans flush a waste of hard earned Money anyway with the 68 it has the spin on filter inside pan so you might as well drop the pan and change the filter anyway

in my eyes a flush is just dealer snake oil .
