Went on vacation this past week. Got to a campground and all was well, long pulls uphill and truck did great. The next morning I took off with my buddy and he asked " does that gauge work", pointing at the fuel presure gauge which read zero! After fooling around I decided the gauge was working fine but the pump wasn't. It would'nt move when the key was turned on and went to 12 psi when the starter was bumped but dropped right to 4 psi when it tried to pump against presure and to zero running. I found a dealer that had one which they replaced under warrenty, and they commented that they had never seen one fail at that low of miles. Without the gauge, I would not have known untill it started running poorly! One day working next day DOA.

Those were the same exact readings i got when mine failed. i agree, the gauge is almost a neccessity with these trucks.
