TRIED TO ORDER MY 3500SRW ON 7-29 AND MY DEALER OUT HERE IN CA SAYS THEY ARE ON RESTRICTION. ANYONE WITH INFO?

Since 6-speeds are only available with the HO engine, it will be on restriction probably until January of 2004 when the EGR system is added. Californians can only get the reduced-output engine (235/460) with either 5-speed or 47RE.
