Ok folks, WHERES ALL THE ENTHUSIASM??? IRP is only days away and no new threads, only 20 replies and 400 some views on this one?? Anyone going?? Or should this have stayed in Muncie?

I think this years event is going to be huge! Last I read, there is a large convoy heading down from southeast MI joining another group from southern MI.

It looks like they are trying to set it up so that Sled pulling and drag racing aren't going at the same time. Some of the drag racers might be a little upset if a sled puller gets to his 300 ft mark before they do. I think its cool, as I want to watch some of the pulling also.



Fletcher, would love to meet you if you can make it out.

We're also being considerate of all our Gulf War and Iraq War veterans in attendance, who would likely suffer flashbacks and other ailments associated with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome when they encounter dust storms, burning rubber, burning oil and a lot of diesel engines running and emitting fumes, all at the same time.

I would like to step up to the challenge however, my racing interests must be put on the back burner due to my educational strives. I applied or a job at KFC, the assistant mgmt told me that I didn't exactly fit in the targeted demographics. (I didn't graduate) So, I signed myself up for the GED program at the local community college…. . Hey, If you were up this way, we could car pool. :-laf
