New Trucks

What a story! When I read this, I felt like sending this guy a sympathy card :{

You gotta feel for this guy ... he is loosing a lot of business with this truck.

WOW! there is one smart guy in there making the comment about the dodge! and for the guy with the 6. 0 being a sweet motor... . he's living in a world of his own!

And if this site isn't for one to air their engine problems, seeking input from others, just what is it for?... A rah, rah site for only positive happenings? Give me a break!

That's all that site seems to be. Anyone that shows up over there with a problem is called a troll and run off. Can they not stand to hear about an issue with their beloved Duramax???

What a joke!

Myself and the group I run with said in the beginning Isuzu? who would want a fork lift motor in our tow vechical. These trucks the 4500 aswell as the 5500's cant get out of their own way. I have seen these from time to time on the road between So Ca and Wa st during the summer months and have laughed everytime (to much truck for the motor) the 6. 6L diesel works much better in a light duty application. But let there be no dought it would be my second choice behind the 325/610 CTD.

I guess the sad thing is the truck itself (minus the motor) is very good, especially offering a 4500 & 5500 in 4X4 ... but really needs the 7. 8 Duramax. Dodge has the engine for this application, BUT NOT THE TRUCK!!! When will Dodge put out a 4500/5500!!!

I stoped by a Dodge dealership to see what they have and ask about any news on 5500 and I got the same "it will never happen" ... so my next stop was at the International dealership looking at a 4300 with a DT466 in a crew cab ... I guess this will be my next route ... a little overkill and NO 4X4.

Thanks Dodge for not making what the customer wants.

"Love" the way they all try to help each other over there. The only reasonable comments in the thread were made by CTD (TDR members?) owners. :confused:

I was just thinking the same thing. They seem to eat their own over there. No constructive help whatsoever.

Let me know were he is, I'll take a trailer and load that POS and the boat, and carry 'em over the hills just for the fun of it!!!

In my not so humble opinion :D

The best way to sort out the "real" working truck is to work them like the poor guy trying to make a living hauling boats. Looks like the Duramax is really built for the counterfit cowboy crowd. "Don't confuse me with the facts" :p
