Wanting to let those know that you can change from the 3.5" EVIC to a 7" EVIC as long as you have AlfaOBD.
I did just this on my Tradesman. What a big difference that it is! Besides all the different choices, it unlocked the ability to change how my AUX switches function. Through the EVIC settings menu, it allows me to remember last state of use, or latching (on - off).

It took about 20 minutes to remove - install - program mileage and engine hours. Found a used 7"EVIC from an '18 on EBAY. Had been looking awhile ago, and they were $750 and up. Infotainment wants $1300+. Got mine for $350 instead of $400 with programming. Just another excuse to have AlfaOBD! You have 4 T-20 and then 2 7mm at base of EVIC.

Really adds some "bling" to the interior of my truck! Now to find a factory radio upgrade. That may take some time to find that one. Got a couple of places to start hunting this summer during my travels. Fingers crossed that I'll get lucky. Will have to have my interior tools packed and ready to throw in the truck.

The AlfaOBD programming was straight forward and took right away! Mileage, total engine hours, and then idle engine hours.

Now will see how long it takes the DW to notice! :D

Feel free to ask about the steps in more detail if needed. If you're close by, and want to do the upgrade, I'm more than willing to help you out and can get you all programmed up! You'll want to get AlfaOBD when we get it all buttoned up.

(Will grab a pic and post it up the next time I'm in the truck.)

When you go to change the mileage, there is a warning about changing it! I documented the change in my maintenance log book. I believe that when a dealer connects to truck, the mileage is stored in another location also.

The LongHorn EVIC has chrome around the gauges. The Limited EVIC might say limited on it. The one that I got, just has the RAM logo top center. I believe that most trims with upgraded interior have the 7". The Tradesman is the only one with standard 3.5" EVIC.

I found one gauge on the 7" that is pretty cool, combo Boost/EB gauge! Before, you had to choose between the two. Now, they're both combined into one gauge! It's an arch gauge , with boost going to the right, and EB going to the left.

I can see that this was a very worth while upgrade to the truck! Besides the radio/center stack, this one is right up there! :D

Sorry about the delay for the pic. The DW lost her snuggle buddy Leo. She took it pretty hard! Also had the fun of pulling the steering wheel airbag to check the cruise switch and wiring. Found the connector on the cruise switch to be the issue. Had replacement harness to put back in. Was a PIA to release the AB! Freaked the DW out about taking the "bomb" out of the truck! :D

Anyway, here's the new 7" dash.
