7000 bucks for a 5spd?

I just heard that the price of a 5spd is 7000 bucks with a core, is this true???? and if not then how much does one cost? do you have to get them from dodge only or are the other places?

You can get one from Standard transmission in Texas for ~$1700 exchange and that's with their fully splined mainshaft which is the true solution for the 5th gear nut problem.
