727 to gen 2 t-case info

Does any body know if the imput shafts on the newer style t-case will

fit a 727 4x4 transmission ? for a mud toy im building ?



Also on the same note any one know if there is a diffrence on the 88 Dakota frames compaired to the 92 i think when they installed v8s in them , i got a 88 that had a v6 and want a v8

I cannot answer your question, however I do have a 727 output shaft for a 4x4.

when i put the engine in my truck i originally had a 727 till i got the 47re shifting worked out and i used the same t case for both transmissions. i still have a t case and 4x4 trans case with output sahft from an 89 d350 4x4 if you need parts.
