730 rhr mute

Is there a way to mute the radio while using the nav only? I have searched and searched and can't come up with a way to mute the radio if I only want the nav, other than turning the volume way down. Sometimes the quiet is needed. It's a 730 RHR setup, thanks, I appreciate it...Larry
