Competition Challange to race a 7.3PSD, will I win?

Competition 6.0 Pulls a wheelie?

I figure that guy will build 2 new motors very soon and get a Rockwell and dropbox and reverser under that thing Oo. ... ... ... ..... I've always said I hate 2nd gear, but I got 200 hooks out of that block. I think if it would have only hit 7700 I would have been ok, but when it went to 7710 is when it let go. Hey Gene, the rods did still end up in the block and not on the track, just the caps, bearings, pieces of rod and pieces of pistons, and piston rings were on the track. Both sides of the block are gone, oil pan is a little rough, few holes in it still leaking oil.

I have both. Can post them later.

I'm so sorry to see that Jeremy... looked like a lot of $$$$. .

Is the truck still for sale?

Once again Gene makes an assumption. We have know idea it was 3-6, but we do know it was at least 1RPM more than what is needed to keep it in the block. Sorry about the engine Jeremy. At least you lost a rod on the track around the full pull mark.

Yeah we take great strides to put on a good show and only try to get third or worse. Nah truck isn't still for sale, I'm maybe gonna try to get it back together for this weekend, if it rains and keeps us out of the field. I only made it 91 ft, I slipped the clutch a lil bit then dumped it, had the 35's turning good then stripped second gear clean off, motor kept on going and stopped at 7710. Ive got pictures, they are BAD... ... . I'm selling souviners from the block. Rod bearings are about sold out.

Did one fall out has it was being towed off?

Something fell, kid picked it up and it looked like a connecting rod. He chased Jeremy down. I thought at first it fell oout of the bed, but thought more about it and think it fell right from the block. Jeremy can probably clarify this. 7700 RPM with no load doesn't equal much power.

So rockwell and dropboxes/reversers. I hear DHRA will allow the big driveline in SS next year, do the OSTPA guys allow it?

Yeah that's all OSTPA guys run. We were the odd ones in the class with a NV4500, Dana 80, DOT tires. But we improved as the year went on and got in front of a few. Next year should be better for us, I was going to do the driveline either way, so it is good DHRA is going to go to that. If someone was chasing me they never caught me. When I tear into it all the way I can see if I have 5 or 6 rods. I know they just aren't the same anymore. The block busted out from 2-5 on both sides and the oil pan is messed up. 7700 no load equals just enough power to go through a block.
