78 Crew Conversion

I have a 78 dodge crew cab short bed 2wd really wanted an 80s crew but this is what i found, it had the cleanest cab. Is the 90s dash and front end going to fit? Have a 89 doner good moter and 5 speed but im buying auto. I think I finally got all the parts. TDR has been a lot of help. thanks Ryan

THe front end should bolt on no problem, and the dash should fit with minimal tweekage. I had to cut some holes in my firewall for a few things ( electrical and some minor others) but no biggie.

I think that you should'a bought a chevy!!! J/K!!! I think that you are probably going to be on the road before me! Let me know if you need some help. Are you going to leave this 2wd or lift and convert it to 4wd?

it will work with some mods..... have an 80 with the 90 cummins in it.

Sam, did you move the main bulkhead wiring plug? Or the clutch master cylinder? I'm swapping an 86 cab on to my 92, and noticed the bulkhead is close or where the master goes.

the bulk head is in the same location as it allways has been close but still works . I know thats whats I have seen on mine . hope that helps
