8.3L ?'s Inj Pump ID...

Ok My friend has a 8. 3L Cummins pusher in a 35ft RV... it is a model year '91 the cpl is 0893, The Engine # is 44555124, the injector # is 3908513

It is rated at 250 hp. He wanted me to do a fuel plate in it and set of guages... well good thing we looked it does not have a p7100 pump in it. . it has a inline but not a p7100 . this pump has delivery valve holders that have forks or are splayed around the hold down bolts. . does any body know the pump info from the cpl or engine # i provided he is looking for about 100hp - 150hp on top of his rated amount. any help would be helpful

Sounds like the same pump that my tractors have. Not sure how to turn them up. There are two screws at the back of the pump, top one is idle. I think it's the bottom one that cranks up the power if you turn it in, but I'm not sure. I'd like a few more ponys out of my tractors too.

probably is the same pump looks kinda like the inline pumps some of the Case and Komastu construction equiptment run... hopefully someone here know the pump. . etc i think one of the websites for injection pumps either shieds or columobus diesel maybe another one?... they have picsa of the pumps type i'lllook there and post a pic if i can

This is a year-old picture of an A-series pump (from a skidsteer) that I have stuffed away in my closet for future use. I took it apart to learn... it worked.

maybe . . i have to see if it has those bolts on the side of the body like that pain in th eass getting in there on a pushed laydown on top of the engien from under the bed argh. . and from behind the rv its impossible. . argh. . don't know hav they palnned on r&r ing the ngine if they needed too as the motor mounts and crossmebers are welded to the frame. . not a good setupo. . i wonder if a lot of rvs are built this way . . not a good thing

Those bolts hold down a cover... underneath that cover you will see this most awesome sight.

mat its definately not the pump you have . . yours has different delivery valves, The Cpl and #'s come back to a Bosch MW pump?... I'll try to scan and post a pic tonight... mummn how to up the power with that?
