8-way power seat...

Hi Everybody,



I'm going to be ordering my truck soon and wanted to clear something up that I can't quite figure out. I'm going to order the 2002 Quad-cab 4x4 - SLT Plus, basically loaded, but I'm confused if the 8-way power seat is included in the SLT Plus package or not.

I'm not planning to order until I find out what Uncle Sam will be giving back to me this year.

yes the power seat should be included

unless it's been added to the list of deleted items that is ever growing

SCHU 777 By all means, go for the power seat and I would advise getting the heated seat option, even if you have to get leather. Well worth it. The wife turns on her heated seat even before buckling up the seat belt. She complained loudly about getting the option when we placed the order, but haven't heard a complaint since. ('')

We find that the heat on our lower back is very helpful on a long trip and also find that we keep the interior heat level lower because of the heated seats.

Heated Seats

SCHU 777 Although I cant attest to the comfort in DCTDs, my current mount, a Ford Galaxy (4cyl Diesel/6 speed) minivan (rental), the seat heaters make the drive in to the site a joy. After starting the van, by the time we finish scraping windows and brushing snow from vehicle the seat are up to temp. Now if only the steering wheel was warm!!

Somewhere on the upgrade list for my vehicle is power option for passenger side and seat heaters on both sides.



You won't regret adding a few more digits to the sticker for these options. When I do let the wifey drive, I really notice the difference in the seat w/o power, no lower back support!

When I bought my truck I ordered it so I could get the 8 way power heated leather seats. I could have got the same truck for much less $ with just the cloth seats and I said no. The heated leather seats are worth twice what they ask. If you have a wife/girlfriend she will absolutly love you for getting them...

JR2 - - You just told D-C we got something worth the money from them. They'll raise the price again next week, and delete the heat control. Next year the control will be an extra cost option!
