under 36,000 I had the entire drive shaft replaced... . about 60,000 miles DC would only replace one u-joint.

Lately, I've noticed between shifts the truck wasn't "coasting". The other day I heard some squeaks yesterday all kinda of racket under the truck. Heck, in my driveway in neutral the truck won't roll back!!!

$220 later, 3 new Spicer greaseables installed (forget model #).

These u-joints fit as described as the Precision 351's in other u-joint posts, They needed a little work on the yolks with a grinder but they got in.

Now the truck rolls SOOOO NIIIIC!. I think I feel a little seat of th pants kick as well.

I wanna get back to the dyno, I bet another 25hp! :)

While on the lift the passenger side u-joint is a bit wacked. It's jarring the steering wheel (not th PS fluid as once thought... ). And the upper passenger side ball joint is a little worn. Just a tiny bit, nothing much yet. $1100 to replace all 4 joints and 2 u-joints.

I know I need to atleast get the u-joints done, but might as well get the ball joints as well will it's apart.

I'm takeing my drive shaft in tomorrow to have all 3 u-joints replaced with spicer greaseables. The local drive line repair shop is only charging $60 something parts & labor, they said I could wait for it,about 30 min.
