80 chevy getting a cummins hopefully

hi i'm getting to put a 1st gen non intercooled cummins in my 1980 chevy 1 ton 2wd mason dump i plan on using the nv4500 can anyone tell me whats involved with this swap i know the newer chevys have a little bit of a clearance problem with the ac and the frame and the hieght is this also true in the older trucks and even if i dont use ac also does anyone make a kit to do this or make the engine mounts i've done a couple searches and found some info if anyone knows any links or anything that would help i would be greatful thanks Bill

Take a look on the northwest bombers sight in the trailers, towing and hauling section and look at "it is started". I used a 83 chevy one ton dually and put a 95 cummins, auto trans, and aftercooler in it.
