80 MOD DODGE D150 4BT CONV ALMOST READY TO START THE ENGINE, PRE LUBED , NEED TO FAB DOWN PIPE FROM TURBO HOPE TO GET IT GOING TOMORROW 12/30/02.
 
JPete how is the front springs holding up I know mine went down quit a bit with when I put he 5. 9 in the lil red let me know how the front suspension works for you so I know If I have any suprises to look foward to thanks George
 
I INSTALLED ALL NEW FRONT END COMPONENTS 3/4 TON SPRINGS . ENGINE STARTED RIGHT UP HAD BEEN HANGING ON ENG. HOIST FOR TWO YEARS. I INSTALLED A PRE-LUBE PUMP, AND DUAL REMOTE FILTERS ,LF3552. RACOR CRANKCASE FILTER SYSTEM,TWO FUEL FILTERS,PRIMARY 10 MICRON ,SECEONDARY 2 MICRON ,GM ALTERNATOR, TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION WITH REMOTE MOUNTED FILTER AND COOLER . JUST INSTALLED NEW 59 INCH DRIVESHAFT WILL PROBABLY DRIVE IT ON 1-11-03... . I AM NO COMPUTER WHIZ ,I DONT KNOW HOW TO POST PICTURES OR I WOULD ,IT TAKES ME A LONG TIME TO POST I HUNT AND PECK TO TYPE... ... ... .....

ITS LOUD, TOP SPEED 70 ,3. 5 REAR AND30. 5 INCH TIRES. I INSTALLED A AIR COMPRESSOR 145PSI AND SOME AIR HORNS HIDDEN UNDER HOOD ,GIVES A GOOD BLOW JOB TO THE CELL PHONE NOT PAYING ATTENTION DRIVERS. I MIGHT CHANGE GEARS TO 2. 73 THIS SUMMER TO LOWER THE RPM A BIT ITS FINE AROUND TOWN. INEED TO INSULATE THE TURBO DOWN PIPE ITS CLOSE TO THE FIRE WALL ,EXHAUST SYSTEM IS RUN OUTSIDE FRAME ON R/H SIDE ,MUFFLER IS CLOSE TO CAB FLOOR . I HAVE INSULATION FOR EVERY THING ,JUST NEED TO INSTALL IT. IF I CAN FIND SOMEONE TO SHOW ME HOW TO POST PICTURES I WILL , I AM NO COMPUTER WHIZ ,JUST A MECHANIC

I INSTALLED NEW PANEL MURPHY OIL PRESS ,WATER TEMP DIGITAL TACH ,AIR PRESS ,VACUUM,VOLTS ,TRANS FLUID TEMP@EXTERNAL FILTER CONVERTER OIL OUTLINE ,ENGINE HOURMETER. ,MURPHY WARNING LIGHT FOR LOW OIL PRESS AND HIGH WATER TEMP, ALSO WATER IN FUEL WARNING LIGHT. DUAL BATTERIES MOUNTED IN UNDER FLAT BED TOOLBOX ,WITH ON/OFF SWITCHES, 5 GALLON STAINLESS AIR TANK MOUNTED UNDER BED,2 FUEL TANKS . PRE LUBE PUMP TO DUAL OIL FILTERS ,LF3552 REMOTE MOUNTED . 10 MICRON FUEL FILTER AT TANKS PURLATOR ELECTRIC PUMP LOW PRESS TO ENG LIFT PUMP TO,RACOR 2 MICRON @ENGINE INJECTION PUMP BOTH FILTERS ARE WATER SEPERATORS ALSO.
 
JPETE, that sounds like a well thought out, nice conversion. You'll really like how the insulation changes things.
