Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 89% DTT Torque Converter

I have an 89% DTT Torque Converter, Valve body and trancmission kit sitting her ready to install in my truck. My only mods are Edge EZ . How does the 89% converter compare to DDT's 91 and 93% ones? I do use this truck to pull my 3000lb boat and my 6000 travel trailer from time to time. I do need enough power to be able to pull the boat out of the water and up the ramp. I just am interested with your experiences.

The 89% set up will be puuuuuuurfect for your set up



I have the 91% set up and I am very happy after 18 months of flawless performance.



The 89% will have a little less lad than my 91%

I have an 89 with a full upgrade and now have 14k on the setup, the 89 is the hottest selling converter, you will love it and the way it perform's. Don't think for a minute you will have a problem, I just returned from a 5800 mile flawless trip and drove in everything from sea level to 11,500 ft and have no gripes on the transmission or converter what so ever. You can upgrade in power and the 89 will love it if you so choose in the future.
