Ok, so, I had a diesel leak on an old '89 I drug in... . It was running fine, and we'd been using it around the ranch until I got time to rebuild the original 3:07 rear and reinstall it. Then it developed a massive diesel leak. It appeared the large O-ring on the distributor head had finally puked... . I pulled the pump to reseal it, as I've done many times..... NO visible damage or wear in the pump, just clean diesel..... all goes back together, re-installed, bumped the key over and BANG!!! That didn't sound good..... and I was right... . looks like I didn't get the return springs seated properly under the distributor plunger..... it broke the plunger shaft at the spill port. Not happy. Now to look for other damage... . appears the distributor head is cracked..... Not happy. Ok, lets see how bad the damage is... . Bosch wants almost $1200 for the head alone!!! Got depressed..... I don't have that much in the truck?!?!?!?!

Anyone got a pump they want to part with?? Or can I use a later model pump to replace it?? I've got some later intercooled pumps and injector lines... . It looks like they'll fit... HELP!!
