Has anyone played around with removing the Louvre in the bottom 90 degree elbow in the stock set up? Our flow bench is on the fritz, so I can't compare with and without. . It looks like it is there to reduce vortexing into the turbo...

Car_nut57 said:Yes, we remove the louver to install the Turbo Air Guide III. The TAG-III does more to direct the air into the turbo after the bend and works very well with the louver removed. If you are not installing a TAG-III you should probably leave the louver in place. It is obviously there to help get the intake air to make the bend just before the turbo.
