Matt's part in the play

My wife and I are shopping for a new baby monitor... . The dilema: 900mhz or 2. 4ghz? 2. 4 provides greater range, but do we sacrifice clarity? We do not have cordless phones in the house so no chance of interference. We have some flouescent lights. Baby Monitors seem to be lackiing in quality. Alot of them your paying for the looks from the shopping and the few we have tried. Opinions welcome.

Thank You,

Jason

I really don't think you will see a difference between 900 and 2. 4.

24Ghz is also used for wireless network, and will /might cause interference with each other. Sure wireless networking is also avalable in 5. 4ghz, but its more expensive then 2. 4ghz.

Interference.

The 2. 4ghz will recieve static from the microwave oven when its on. May not be a problem in your home.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Tim

Yes the microwave does cause static in my 2. 4 gig phone also! I thought I was the only one that had that problem. I learn something new everyday.
