91 to 93 grill

Many of you may know this but for those of you that don't the grill for 91 to 93 trucks is no longer available from dodge. When I talked to my local deal he said there where 4 left in the country on dealer stock all on the west coast.

Keep in mind that LMC is coming out with an '89 to '93 catalog in the spring of 2014. I'm not sure what they will have but if you can wait it might be worth it.

That is great, I have pinged LMC about coming out with a Dodge catalog on par with what they do for the Bowtie and Ford folks. Too bad it won't go all the way back to 1972 (or earlier).

I noticed in Geno's catalog 81 that they are now selling 1st gen aftermarket grills.

Yes Genos is selling 1st gen grills. Their price is $245. 00 plus shipping. They do not have Dodge lettering at the top of the grill. If you search other web sites you can probably find them for a little less. Genos says that their might be some triming necessary for fitment. I saw a post that on TRD - I think - that said you can get the Dodge lettering off your old one but it not all that easy. They are heat pressed on.

Yeah, those grills have been available for a while. RockAuto is one name that comes to mind selling them. Granted, it would likely be a damaged part so Genos is still worth the money.....

Seen several in person. Not as nice as the factory ones. But better than an old busted one.

Its a shame that i dosen't have the "DODGE" lettering (yeah i know good luck) but i kinda like the all crome look... any other opinions?

I read somewhere that you can remove the letters from the original grill. I you look at the back side of the grill you will see that they are plastic, heated and pressed in place and could be removed if you have the ability to work with plastic. The letters are just mushromed using heat to hold them in place.

I bought a grille for my 92 on eBay if you look around you can get em for about 120 with free shipping they are a one piece you can also get the ones with the inserts but they are more and you have to buy the pieces separate lmc is coming out with a gen catalog in the spring

Check with some body shops... I recently saw a repaired one that had a new grille with the Dodge lettering... I havent' spoken to the owner yet.... only his wife. She didnt' know much, so I havent' tracked down the body shop, yet....

After reading this I contacted the Dodge guys I deal with. They confirmed that the grille was OBS but that they was 1 left in the Central Alberta warehouse. It's now in my garage. It was't cheap My buddy has 5 trucks that use this grille, 2 Ramchargers and 3 93 pickups with the CTD. David

I found one in dealer stock by stupid luck and picked it up right before I started this post.
