91 Truck

[YJMBC]

Looking at a 91 auto w/132000 on it. It also says it has a banks power pack on it and was wondering what that consisted of. Just needed to know some things to be looking for. thanks YJ

For a 91 it should have a new turbo and intercooler. Banks is good stuff, but very expensive.

The bank$ kit does not include a complete new turbocharger. The "quick turbo" is a wastegated 14cm housing that replaces the factory non-wastegated 18. 5 or 21cm housing.



Depending on when that truck was built, it may have the factory intercooling option. If it is factory intercooled, it will have the black intake tubes and intake horn, not the shiny ones like in the bank$ picture.

I stand corrected. Thats what I ment, just forgot to type "housing" is all.



If it is a pre-factory intercooled model they I believe you should have the larger stock injectors and lines, this is a good thing performance wise, however it does bring a slight increased risk of head cracks. The banks intercooler is an excellent piece if thats what it has. Worth half as much as my truck though...
