Crap! just CRAP. I've broken more bolts with little effort then I can shake a stick at latly.

So the bracket that holds the caliper on in the rear, I broke that cheap a55 little bolt. drill out a nice hole, bolt extractor... guess what. . BROKE THAT TOO! I must be super man here or something.

So, does anyone know what a new bracket will cost? If it's the same or cheaper then 1 - 2 hours of machine work to get this ******* out... I can go to a 24 hour truck place to have them work on it. the guy tells me it's a 50/50 shot to save the threads.

What do you folks suggest?

I would give the truck service place a shot, there are more ways than one to skin a cat. If the service guy is really young, forget it. bg

no stores open. . no drill bits big enough, and it sounds like a kid, working 2nd shift when I called the 24hour place.

I think the place is to have hte GF take the day off, as me, spend some time together after I fix this. I'll call a junk yard and dealership in the AM to see what a replacement bracket will run me.
