911--no start -& no link with scan tool

THIS IS TOO WIERD. i JUST CHANGED MY OIL & AIR FILTER- FILLED THE OIL- INSTALLED THE AIR CLEANER & NOW THE TRUCK WILL NOT START!! PUT THE SCAN TOOL NO & NO LINK!



ANY IDEAS??

Won't turn over or won't fire?

The alternator + terminal is close to the oil filter and has been accidently touched with a metal wrench and caused electrical problems.

panick attack is over--problem solved----it was a bad ground! cleaned all battery posts & it started right up.



The reason for the panick--just loading up to go steelhead fishing--650 mile drive--so I decided i should change the oil. Then this happened. After I took an easy-out & pulled my heart out of my throat---I calmed down & started checking fuses, ground etc.

I am thankfull it was so easy!!!



I always tell my employees--Don't Panic!! I guess I should follow my own advise!!



Anyways--time to freeze my butt off & catch some fish!!

Hey Herman,

Glad you figured it out quickly and it was an easy fix!

I bought that '05 last January with 417k on the clock. It was used to deliver campers all over the country which is how I also use it.
