Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 913 pump rebuild.

Have any of you ever had a 913 pump completely rebuilt. Mine was diagnosed with some problems and I am thinking about removing it and having it looked at by a pump shop. Any ideas what kind of price this kind of thing could run. I know alot of shops charge 2000 to 2500 exchange, but I would rather have this pump rebuilt than someone elses pump that i know nothing about.

Scheids pulled mine and recalibrated it for half of that. It was worth every penny for increased fueling.

About half is what I am hoping for. I'm not looking to increase the amount of fuel. I am actually glad he found something wrong with the pump. Nice to know you're not imagining problems that aren't there. It will be interesting to see how truck runs with governor working correctly and all cylinders firing.
