I'm replacing the dead automatic in a '92 with the MV-4500, retaining the NP-205 which I've had resealed (the internals were fine according to the shop). Went with the Midwest Transmission conversion which is pricey and very complete but didn't have a new transmission mounting bracket.

I haven't had any luck with parts outlets (they want to sell me the rubber dampers) but don't have anything in the way of an actual mount bracket that bolts to the transmission between it and the crossmember.

Anyone have recommendations on a source for a bracket or what should be used to fabricate one?

Thanks...

There is not much to a 1st gen transmount, all you to fabricate one is a peace of 3/8" X 2" or heavier flat stock and a 2"x 2" square tube along with the factory 4x4 rubbers, I'll try to get under mine to take a picture of it

Thanks for the reply!

Problem with that one is that it goes with a quite expensive (and even worse out of stock) bonded rubber and steel isolation pad and I haven't stumbled across another vendor...

I'd really appreciate that-I have a scrap of square tubing off a Ditch Witch that might just be the right size...a picture is worth a thousand words!

yep It's just a section of square tubing with holes drilled in the right spot's but it work's and it's nice then if you need a shifter Bracket because getrag is different then they also sell that with all bolt's and the rod .

Midwest Transmission is where my kit came from and it included the shifter bracket and linkage.

Due to the limitations on my ability to fabricate I've elected to go with the Advanced Adapter part but it's not the one I linked...good thing I called them!

I don't remember the gentleman's name but he had me measure things (fortunately the old transmission and crossmember are still in place with only the -205 removed!) while he measured the part in the warehouse and then checked with one of the tech guy to see what I really needed!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
