Archived 92truck wont shut off!

This is the second time around. The first time I couldnt shut off the engine with the key, I found that the fuel solenoid wires were loose. I tightened them and have been runnin for a while. Now yesterday it did it again. Fuel solenoid wires still tight. What's going on?

Its most likely your fuel solenoid is stuck... . Its a fairly common problem. Sometimes they stick stut, somethimes open. You do have a couple of options: Fix the solonoid, if you have a manual, put it in 4th and let the cluthc out, or i used a extra hood release lever that attatches to the kill lever on the fuel pump. WOrks like a charm.
