'93 dodge ram 4x4 front brakes

Hey, i'm new to this forum.

hoping someone can confirm the front brake self-installation.

do i just knock out the shims to install the front pads?

doesn't seem any other way to go about it(without completely disassembling the calipers) but don't want to get too far into it and find out i've screwed up.



also wondering if there is a site for schematics?

Brakes

Mine is a 91 and they may be the same. Two bolts, pull the calipers, w/tool

or wood blocks spread the cups, remove the pads and replace w/new, re-install

and hit the brakes a few times to seat. R C



I use AllData for schematics, not perfect but good. There are some partial schematics linked on this forum.
