Im having problems getting the fan clutch off of my '93. I know the motor turns clockwise, so that means i have to turn the nut clockwise to loosen it right?

Also, what can i use to keep the pulley from turning? I tried the 10mm wrench on the small bolts but that didnt work.

Thanks in advance guys

You are correct, looking at the fan clutch from the front of the engine you loosen the nut clockwise. There is a tool for holding the bolts on the pulley from turning. Most of the time if you can give the fan clutch nut a sharp blow at the end of the wrench with a hammer it will come loose. If this does not work you can try taking the belt off the pulley and put a strap wrench around the pulley to hold it as you tug on the nut.
