Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 94 12V blue smokes cold-no revs

94 12V does not rev up cold, blue smokes,and fuel mileage is proggresively getting worse. After warmed up --runs great-no smoke-but fuel mileage still bad. Lift pump pressue 22lbs @ idle, maniflod heaters pre-heat & cycle after start up, fuel heater works,air filter good, & timing @12degrees @ TDC. Any ideas? Appreciate any tips. Thanks

Go to around 16°.

I'm around 20° which is considered too high for normal usage, but it sure does run better in the winter temps.

John's right, even the low factory spec is 13. 5°, take it up to 16.

How many miles are on the engine? Blue smoke is usually oil seeping around the exhaust valve guides and seals.
