Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 94 2500 - suspected fuel system air leak

hi,

i have a 94 2500 with about 135000 miles. Should i be able to hear air escaping when priming with the thumb primer?

No youshould not hear air escaping,but if you listen near the overflow valve you should hear it as it opens

couldn't hear the OFV opening, just this pffffft, pffffffft, pfffffft when i hit the primer. sounded like the vicinity of the injection pump, but didn't have time to isolate it.
