ok my dad bought a 94 dodge 2500 with a 5spd and the transmission and transfer case have been out and looks like they put a new transmission in all clean and shiny with the stickers still on it telling you what fluid to use. now the problem is that the transfer case is backwards:eek:

Whith the stick all the way back towards seet you are in 2 high and it goes forward from there neutral on the stick is 4 high and 4 high is neutral and all the way forward is low range whats up? any ideas i had it on the lift and the linkage is all together right. it has to be internal but it works fine locks into 4 wheel drive and all just ***** backwords?

Interesting! I'd guess that they got the linkage flipped upside down where the rod attaches to the shift shaft in the T-case. The flat tab on the end of the shift rod that bolts to the shift shaft in the T-case should be sticking up not down on a 241 HD.
