I will be dropping the tank on my 94 to install a 2nd bulkhead fitting for the race pump. My question is should I change out the stock float etc while I have it down. What little I could get it to prior to rebuilding it the needle would go all over the place. (it went from full to 1/4 in 40 miles then went back up to full after it cooled off) Do they make a better mousetrap?

Sounds like a good idea to fix the fuel sender while the tank is down.
