Hello Guys,

This truck has 180,000 miles on it and all I've done to it is add a Janetty 4" exhaust system to it. I do have a K&N air filter.

This truck is used for pulling fifth wheel trailers, 22,000-27,000 lbs.

As you can imagine I have had to make do with the 175 hp for 8 years.

I have had differing opinions on fuel plate size, injectors, etc.

Is the mileage too high? I think not but I need some second opinions.

It is time for a clutch so bigger injectors and fuel plate sound like the right thing to do.

I appreciate all imput.

Howdy partner.

My 175hp 95 towed nice with a TST #8 plate, 215hp injectors and a 16cm2 non wastgated turbo housing. With the BHAF installed and at around 27,000 GVCW egt's were very managable.

After the installation of a TST#5 plate, I've got to watch the pyro fairly close, especially when towing at altitude out West.

So, my suggestion for a working truck like yours is a #8 plate,in the stock position, 215hp injectors, and a 14 or 16cm turbo exhaust housing. Best turbo for me with my Pacbreak would be one of Piers reworked HX35's. If you wanna part with the bucks, that's what I'd buy.

Good luck, Ronnie

PS, just read my profile and remembered the 3k GSK. The additional RPM available really helps when getting on the freeway, and that big hole between 3rd and 4th just disappears.
