Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 94 to 96

Would the 47RH work in a 96 or newer with the 47RE?

Different PCM? Would need vacuum for the transmission also.

There are a couple guys running RH's in their 1996 and newer. The two that come to mind are "KoaMan" and if I am not mistaken "HVAC".

I was just wondering that since my plan is to get a 96-98, hopefully with a 5 speed, and put the HD 47RH in there and swap a 6 speed into my current truck (an auto). Like I said the plan is to use a 96-98 5 speed truck but just incase (which I doubt) I wasn't able to find one or make it work, I was just checking to see if the RH to RE swap could be done.
