I don't really need it to tow with any more,it has 370,000 & doesn't use any oil. It has alot of the usual things done to it: fuel plate,injectors,5'' exhaust, ats billet shaft & lock-up valve body, rear air bags, reese & goose neck hitch. $1000 in new 315-75-16 tires w/058 eagle alloy rims. Body in good cond,I replaced fenders,1door,rocker panel,wheel-well on pass. side. There is alot more stuff done-just a rough idea what it is worth is what I am after before I list it. thanks.

We need to know your location and maybe a picture or two to give you a better guess. My gut is that it would be in the ~$5000-$6000 range here in western PA based on your description.

Humm... ... . but rosebunch's wrecked '95 after repair is worth $11,000 or $12,000 or more?

It seems as though the 2nd gens are going for approximately 25 to 35% more than what theyre blue booking at right now. Thats not set in stone anywhere, and you still have to find someone willing to spend that kind of $$$ on one, but it would be a good place to start your asking price at

A couple of recently sold trucks where I based my guess on these values. Sold in January..... Stock '96 regular cab ST 4x4, pretty bare bones truck with 136K on it. Rust free truck out of TX. Hit square on the front. Pulled both frame rails, rad support, grill hood, AC parts, rad. , intercooler, hood, both fenders, grill, lights, airbag sensors, airbag, misc. interior parts, etc. Listed for $9999 and sold for $9000.

2001 Loaded Quad Cab short bed 4x4, non-53 block truck out of Florida with 317K on it. Original auto with a blown transfer case and no body damage. Listed also for $9999. Sold for $9250.

Mileage over 300K like the OP's question here will probably effect the price more than anything else. What would you consider the value of the OP's truck, or Rosebunch's truck with as clean as it is and all of the aftermarket parts including the aftermarket trans, sir?

I don't have clue. They both have a lot of aftermarket goodies, however the '95 has been wrecked so that drops the value. It just seems like your price for two nearly identical trucks was one sided.

I've found that craigslist is a pretty good gauge of market value for an area. 2nd gens on the Pitttsburgh craigslist are listed from $6500-$17000 in the quick look I did this morning. I'm not sure where the OP is located, but they can get a good guess on asking price based on what they see on their local site.

I am located in ohio, the truck was in one of last years turbo diesel's magazines trucks w/300,000 mile pictures,I will have to find wich issue it was. Thanks for the estimate,I know between the tires & the cost of the ATS transmission parts alone is several thousand dollars.
