2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 96 dash same as 97?

Is the hard plastic dash board in a 96 ram the same as the 97 rams? I have a crack in my dash and need to see if a 97 ram dash will fit. I am talking about the gray hard plastic dash that has the defroster cut outs in it.

Yes, 96 and 97 are the same. The dash was changed in 98.
