just did the fuel transfer pump replaced it with a carter. . and for some reason the truck doesnt have as much acceleration... i put in a banks stinger plus kit and put the fuel plate about an eighth of an inch off of the front. . and i still didnt get anything. . just when i floor it at about 45 mph i can get up to 70mph but thats about it

EGT sounds low for full throttle. Try plugging the line that goes to the wastegate. It's somewhat common for the diagphram or the line to leak. That will keep the afc from allowing full fuel to the engine. Did it run good before you did the pump?

not really... it was rough i couldnt have the ac on at all the truck would stall out unless i was on it. . the transfer pump was puking out fuel... i had to prime it everytime i started it. .

If it smoothed out now that you did the pump try what I suggested if it is a boost leak it will run smooth you will just have no accelartion or towing power

Your boost and egt's are low,you need to check low pressure supply first. You may be due for an overflow valve.

i dont tow anything. looking for a little more power. . what i left out was that a guy that i work with gave me the banks stinger kit (turbo housing, waste gate) and the banks brake that i didnt install. . and i double checked before the boost gets up to 15 from 0-45 with the egt at 800. . and then at 50 floored i get 27lbs of boost and maintain about 950 on the egt... .

i actually have a question also i am looking at picking up another engine and having a friend of mine do the machine work to the block and head... a guy that i work with told me about this site has a 94 5. 9 and said that the manual engines have a little more hp i am wondering what the difference was between the engines installed on the manuals and the automatics

Those numbers sound better. Is it the truck won't go over 70? How long does it take to go from 45 to 70?

The power difference is the pump and maybe injectors (the injectors I am not sure about but I'm sure someone here will know)

So your accleartion is good your just lacking top speed. Is the throttle opening up all the way/ have someone floor it and see if you can move it anymore on the pump by hand. I had to adjust mine just be careful with the linkage one nut is right hand and the other is left hand and they will snap if your not careful

2250 floored it felt like it was getting 0-60 faster at about 20 seconds, and now its about 40 seconds when it spools up from 40 it moves though

You would have to hook up fuel pressure guage at the banjo bolt(supply line to p7100) on the fuel filter housing. Minimum pressure is 20 psi at idle should go up as you as rpms increase. If pressure is low take pliers and squeeze return fuel line (rubber part) if pressure goes up your overflow valve is bad if pressure stays the same or goes up slowy the lift pump is bad.
