I have a 96 with a headlight problem. It seems to only occur when it is cold outside. I replaced the switch with the mopar new and improved switch last year and thought the problem was solved. Its been working fine until this morning. I start the truck--al the lights work but the headlights, after sitting about 20 minutes they come on and work fine. I know when this happened before it would only occur when the truck was cold, which sucks because I start work 2:45am! Could it be the switch again?---thanks again.

I had to replace connectors that plug to the headlight bulbs on my '95. Might check them out. They're cheap and fairly easy to replace.

I have the exact same issue with my 96. Some mornings they wouldn't come on even after playing with the switch a number of times. It's gotton worse though this winter. The other morning it was in the single digits I left the truck run for a while with the light switch on and after 10-15 min of idle nothing. When I went out to get in as soon as I opened the door they came on! I shut them off and then they came back on right away. Strange. I just today replaced the switch with a new one. See what happens tomorrow...
